The social housing sector in the UK is in the midst of massive change - with funding arrangements revised, housing providers are looking towards new technologies to transform their businesses.

Social housing providers are already looking at all aspects of their businesses to understand where technology can drive efficiencies and create additional value. For example, the internet of things is beginning to allow social landlords to understand how their housing assets perform out in the wild while also delivering the kind of technology driven home that residents are demanding. The use of UAV and advanced laser scanning for asset inspection is set to change the nature of repairs and maintenance programmes. While connected boilers will report potential faults before residents realise there is an issue.

A massive opportunity exists for technology-focused businesses to bring new and innovative products to a large and often neglected market.

HACT and techUK have lined up some of the most forward thinking minds in UK housing to explain the problems being faced by the sector and their wish list for innovations that will transform services and business processes whilst delivering better value for money.

Join us for keynotes and workshops that will delve deep into housing and help explain how you can access a unique market of 4 million homes, 80% of which are controlled by just 150 landlords.
