This workshop aims to showcase Time Credits as an innovative approach to community investment to housing associations. It will be an opportunity to learn about innovative new methods in community investment, learn about Spice Time Credits, Co-production and Asset Based Community Development.
You’ll hear from a range of Housing Associations and Care and Support providers who are working with Spice to engage tenants in decision making, support community leaders and building stronger more connected communities.
Spice is a leading Social Enterprise working with general needs and supporting housing providers across England and Wales to transform community investment approaches, and improve health and wellbeing outcomes for tenants. They deliver a mix of training and consultancy support as well as building Time Credits systems.
In this workshop you’ll find out about innovative approaches to achieve:
- A broad range of tenants actively involved in the design and delivery of services;
- Strong and resilient communities, where tenants and residents are working together to deliver local community initiatives;
- Unemployed tenants becoming more actively involved in their communities, learning new skills, re-engaging with the wider community and developing new connections; resulting in their being more employment-ready;
- Partnership working with Local Authorities, schools, community organisations and the corporate sector.
